Sexual Health and Decision Making

Sexual Health and Decision Making: The teenage years are a time when many young people start needing to make some important decisions about their life and their future. Sometimes there can be a lot of pressure and a lot of different  people trying to  influence these decisions. Some people end up making choices that can have a lasting effect on the rest of their lives.  They may later feel guilty, ashamed, embarrassed or come to regret some of their choices.

This program is about knowing whether you are ready to become sexually active, knowing how to protect your sexual health and recognising some of the influences in this area. The 1.5 hour session outlines the legal information and investigates social and emotional pressures. Condoms are displayed and demonstrated (optional).
